Game summary for August 4, 2020, Classic Quest campaign, Dungeons & Dragons BECMI / RC Edition, for Phoenix Gaming Club. Session included: Darados (Elf played by Casey Scruggs), Garadal Davster (Halfling played by Parker Harmon), Lodi Shatterhelm (Dwarf-Cleric played by Chris Harmon), Riccon Guerrier (Human Fighter played by Peyton Harmon), and Timotei Kiraly (Human Fighter played by Preston Harmon). Game Master for this session was Charles Plemons. This was a Roll20 session.
The team began to explore the misty island and soon found some old stone structure or temple surrounded by stone statues, one of which was smashed. In its place was a bronze and silver statue matching the description the elves had given them. Lodi went up to investigate and look for any unusual stone features. The team was then attacked by half-a-dozen invisible pixies! The fighting was fast and furious, but Timotei and Riccon seemed uncannily accurate against the unseen foes. While the combat raged, Darados went into the building to explore and disappeared down a ladder into the darkness.
After the pixies were defeated, the team followed Darados down into the darkness. They found dusty footprints leading off down a dark tunnel. Following, the group stumbled into a massive number of animated skeletons! The undead surged forward and began clubbing the team with bones. They tried to fall back, but there were so many undead that they clogged the hallway trapping several of the team among them!
