Game summary for September 10, 2019, Into The Shadows campaign, Shadowrun 5th Edition, for Phoenix Gaming Club. Session included: Ballyhoo (Human Augmenter played by Andrew Renfrow), Chase (Troll Tank played by Kaliegh Averdick), Clutch (Human Transport Rigger played by Peyton Harmon), Hollywood (Human Combat Medic played by Chris Harmon), Octane (Elf Razor played by Casey Scruggs), and Thay (Elf Street Shaman played by Taylor Averdick). Game Master for this session was Charles Plemons.
The brawl escalated as more guns were drawn and things got deadly serious. Hollywood put several rounds in a couple of ghouls while Thay hurled a knife. Octane began slashing the ghouls’ ears, temporarily disorienting them. Clutch shot dead two of the gang members, but suddenly his gun backfired and grievously injured him!
Chase took a number of hits and shrugged them off like the massive troll he is. However, in an unfortunate moment using his gun as a club, he ended up shooting himself! Ballyhoo tore into the ghouls with magically conjured acid, and not to be outdone, Thay blasted another dead with manabolt. Clutch managed to dive out the door and get his remote-piloted van heading to the front.
It was quick and messy, but the team defeated the ghouls and began heading for the exit and Clutch’s incoming van!
Chase punches at the ghoul I stabbed, but misses.
I try to stab him again, but he blocks it.
Another ghoul draws a pistol and fires at me, but misses.
A third ghoul claws at Ballyhoo and minorly hurts him.
The final ghoul shoots at Chase, who dodges the bullet.
Chase throws another punch at the stabbed ghoul, but to little effect.
Chase punches yet again.
I slice part of the ear off the one I stabbed.
Thay is hit, and stunned slightly.
Clutch shoots the injured ghoul, killing him. He then shoots another ghoul, injuring him.
Hollywood is struck, but he blocks it.
Chase is then hit, but absorbs it.
Another ghoul shoots Chase, causing moderate damage. It then shoots at him again, but misses.
Ballyhoo, while sustaining his spell on me, casts an acid stream at one of the ghouls, taking some serious damage.
Thay throws a knife at the acidified ghoul, but it overcomes it.
Hollywood shoots at the acidic ghoul, but misses. He shoots again, this time striking him, causing major damage.
I try to slice an ear on the ghoul that Clutch shot, doing minor damage.
Chase shoots the ghoul I sliced, killing him.
Clutch shoots the acidified ghoul and kills him. He attempts to shoot another, but his gun explodes in his hand, seriously injuring himself.
Only 3 ghouls remain, one of them holding a gun. He fires at Hollywood, who’s armor absorbs it.
I slice the ear off one of them.
Chase shoots that one, seriously injuring him. He shoots him a second time, but misses.
Chase shoots that one again, killing him. He then fires at the one holding a pistol, but misses.
I try to cut off the ear of the unarmed ghoul, but miss.
Ballyhoo casts another acid stream, still maintaining his spell on me, hurting one of them.
Clutch makes his way out of the club and activates his van to pick us up.
Thay casts a mana bolt and destroys the armed ghoul.
The final ghoul attempts to attack me, but I parry with my knife.
Hollywood shoots him, but he dodges. He fires again, striking true this time, inflicting damage.
Chase pistolwhips him, but the gun goes off in Chase’s face, causing much damage.
I cut off an ear.
Ballyhoo casts again, killing the last ghoul, but draining Ballyhoo some.
